John and I are bread lovers and really enjoyed using the bread maker on Saorsa. We would describe a bread maker as a Blue Water cruisers essential. The only problem is that they take up a lot of space.
Sat in my bean bag on the foredeck cruising to Malaga I came up with the idea of ripping out the useless freezer housing and opening up this space for a under the shelf freezer and a shelf for the beadmaker… John was in full agreement and being a man of action within hours we were ripping apart the interior of our boat.
As soon as John had wired in some new lights – the whole starboard hull was transformed, we learnt a lot abthout the wiring of the boat – um a huge complex maze of 12v, 22O AC and DC.
We also love impact glue which helped us create the headlinings. A more pleasurable job and the breadmaker now has its private parking lot!
RECOMMENDATION : - if creating linings for your boat buy several cans of impact glue – you will need them.
